Shuru TV ("we", "our", "us") operates the Shuru TV application (package: com.tvshuru.voyager) for Google TV and Android TV. 3. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights:

3.1 Right to Access (Section 11)

You have the right to obtain a summary of your personal data being processed and the processing activities. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access.

3.2 Right to Correction and Erasure (Section 12)

You may request correction or erasure of your personal data. Since all app data is stored locally on your device, you can erase it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app from your TV device.

3.3 Right to Grievance Redressal (Section 13)

If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, you may contact our Grievance Officer (details below). We will respond within 30 days of receiving your complaint, as required by the DPDP Act.

3.4 Right to Nominate (Section 14)

You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your data rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

We do not retain any personal data on our servers. Local data on your device persists until you clear the app data or uninstall the application. Upon erasure, data is permanently deleted as per Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app does not require account creation or personal information from any user, including children. In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, we do not process personal data of children in any manner that could cause harm.

We do not transfer personal data outside India. Content delivery may involve servers located in various regions, but no personal data is stored or processed outside your device.

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under Section 8(6) of the DPDP Act.

By using the Shuru TV app, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Since we do not collect personal data requiring explicit consent, no separate consent mechanism is required. For any processing that may require consent in the future, we will obtain clear, informed, and specific consent as required under Section 6 of the DPDP Act.
